Mound Visits, 10/14/20

When we pray, we are not praying to a God who is far away. We are praying to One who is near. He knows what is on our hearts but He wants to hear us say it. He wants a dialogue with us. He knows it will do us good to share our pain and our desires with Him. Our prayers may not change God, but they will change us.

“Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?” – Corrie ten Boom

“Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.”
‭‭(Jeremiah‬ ‭29:12‬)
