Mound Visits, 10/3/19

Sometimes the burdens of life become far too heavy to carry alone. That’s when it’s very good to ask someone to pray for you. Several years ago, Country singer Ricky Skaggs sang a beautiful song about this:

“Somebody’s prayin, I can feel it
Somebody’s prayin’ for me
Mighty hands are guiding me
To protect what I can’t see
Lord I believe, Lord I believe
That somebody’s prayin’, for me”

“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
(Hebrews 4:16)
