Many times as a coach, I would watch certain players make the same mistakes over and over during practice. It’s hard for a coach to have confidence in players who have a hard time making the necessary adjustments. Consequently, those types of players don’t see a lot of action during the game.

God must grow weary of me making the same mistakes over and over. I promise to do better, but where is the discipline? Where is the commitment?

Yet, God is patient with us. He loves us too much to give up on us. He not only wants us to get in the game, He wants us to excel and finish strong!

“The Lord appeared to us in the past , saying:
‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. I will build you up again….'” (Jeremiah 31:3-4)
