Mound Visits, 11/27/19
In sports, as a coach or a player, you must appear confident at all times. A player who doesn’t exude confidence sits on the bench. A coach who doesn’t exude confidence loses the respect of his players and eventually loses his job.
With God, we can be totally vulnerable. God doesn’t turn his back on our weakness (and we all have weaknesses), He embraces our weakness. He doesn’t lose respect for us, He simply loves us unconditionally and imparts His strength to us.
What an amazing God we serve!
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”
