Mound Visits, 12/28/18
Many of us have already started to make plans for the New Year. We may be planning on saving more money, giving more, losing weight, getting in better shape, reading our Bible more, serving more or just being more disciplined.
All of these goals are good, but I’m reminded of what Peter Marshall once said, “”Small deeds done are better than great deeds planned.”
Why not start today? Start small and start today.
Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20)
If we ask God to give us strength, wisdom and faith and ask Him to walk each step of the journey of the New Year with us, together, we will be able to move the mountains in our life.
