Mound Visits, 12/6/17

Each week most of us make decisions both big and small. The decisions we make many times affect our family, co-workers or even our career. Occasionally, the seemingly small decisions we make have a domino effect and touch lives for years to come. That’s why we should, in this respect at least, be like Solomon. God appeared to young Solomon in a dream and told him he could ask for whatever he wanted
(1 Kings 3:5). Solomon didn’t ask for more wealth or power, he asked God for “a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong.”
(1 Kings 3:9)
May we all pray often for a discerning heart to distinguish right from wrong.
