I have great respect for science and appreciate the brilliance and God-given abilities of the men and women who have made our lives safer, more comfortable and healthier through scientific innovations. But my “faith” in science only goes so far. I agree with author/philosopher C.S. Lewis on this matter, “I don’t have enough faith in science to believe that something can come from nothing.” When it comes to faith, my trust is in the Creator and the Redeemer.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
(Genesis 1:1)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.”
(John 1:1-5)

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)
