Mound Visits, 2/2/18

We live in an era of having many “friends,” but few real friendships. In reality, we may have many Facebook “friends” or Twitter followers, but very few, if any, real people that lead to real, meaningful conversations. There’s nothing more important than our relationship with God, family and friends.

If you have unwittingly outgrown having a meaningful friendship (one where you actually talk to someone), I encourage you to ask God to help you rekindle or develop one…a friendship with someone trustworthy.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
