Mound Visits, 2/25/17
We live in a divided nation. States, cities and even some churches our divided. I hate to admit this, but I’ve coached teams that were divided. Our state’s (Kentucky) motto is, “United we stand, divided we fall.” It’s not possible for us as independent thinking people to agree on everything, but that doesn’t mean we can’t live in unity.
Paul gives this advice in Colossians 3:13-15, “Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
Be understanding, forgive, love, let the peace of Christ rule, be thankful. You
