Mound Visits, 3/18/20
The flooding in southeastern Kentucky a few weeks ago; then the devastation left by the tornadoes in middle Tennessee soon afterwards; now the pandemic caused by a virus…King David turned to God when he was brought to his knees. That is where we need to be in 2020. SCORE International Executive Director, John Zeller, shared this prayer from David in a conference call yesterday:
“Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.”
(Psalms 57:1)
