Mound Visits, 3/21/18
Every time I hear about a tragedy in another part of our nation or friend who is in critical condition, I become very thankful, at least for a while, for my family. Much of that thankfulness is a part of God’s plan to give us wisdom. Part of Moses’ prayer in Psalm 90:12 says, “Teach us to number our days aright, that we may have a heart of wisdom.”
Tragedies and serious illnesses cause me to slow down, to be prayerful and to be thankful. That may have been what Moses was communicating to God…”Teach us to number our days aright…”
