It’s easy to put our faith on the “back burner” if we are competing on the field, engaged in a political campaign or involved in some other endeavor we are passionate about. The truth of the matter is this: if we are followers of Christ, we should represent Him and be His ambassador in every occupation, relationship and encounter. We should never be obnoxious or come across as self-righteous while representing Him, but should be “quick to listen” (James 1:19) while at the same time, we should “stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13).
Many times, I fall short in all these areas, but with Christ’s help, I will grow and become a better ambassador.

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us…”
(2 Corinthians 5:20)
