God is pleased when we help people and serve Him. But that doesn’t cause God to love us more. He loves us right now in this moment as much as He will ever love is. And, that is more than any of us can comprehend. His love isn’t based on what we do. It’s based on who He is.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
‭‭(Romans‬ ‭5:8‬)
