Mound Visits, 4/15/19

Long ago, during my years as a minor league baseball player, there were many hours spent on buses between Watertown, SD and Duluth, MN; between Tampa and Key West; between Three Rivers, Quebec and Reading, PA. This was before cell phones, iPads and laptops. I wasted a lot of time. I wish I had read more books and journaled. I wish I had taken a Bible with me to memorize scripture. I’ll never get those hours back, but I have today!

Mother Teresa once said, “Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”

“Teach us to remember our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
(Psalm 90:12)
