Mound Visits, 4/20/19
This weekend we are celebrating a reunion for the UK Baseball alumni. Teammates and coaches practice together, compete alongside each other even live together. There is so much joy when we get together and a little sadness when we part. Someone once said that every parting gives a foretaste of death, every reunion a hint of the resurrection.
Someday, there will be a great reunion for all of those who place their faith in Christ Jesus. The joy there will be far greater than anything we experience here on earth.
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. He who was seated on the throne said, ‘I am making everything new!'”
