There are times in life when we find ourselves both physically and emotionally drained. It sometimes feels as though we have nothing left to give. During these times, it’s imperative that we find rest for our minds and bodies and refreshment for our souls.
When we are dehydrated we need fluids. When we are starving we need food. When we are emotionally spent, we need rest and we need Jesus.
“On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.’”
“Jesus then declared, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.’”
Jesus also said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
