Sometimes, God says “no” to our request when we pray. Many times “no” is a far greater answer. God has a better plan than ours. When Jesus was agonizing in prayer before His betrayal and crucifixion, He prayed, “Abba, Father, everything         is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” (Mark 14:37)We know that God’s will was that the “cup” of bitterness, excruciating pain, sorrow and death would not be taken from Jesus. But, because God said “no” our sins are forgiven! Millions upon millions have been forgiven and we will spend eternity in heaven because God said “no!” God may say no to a prayer you have prayed, but He may have a far better thing for you just ahead. Trust and be submissive to His will.
