Mound Visits, 7/3/17

Social media has created a “bully pulpit” for anyone with a strong opinion about politicians, athletes, coaches and other public figures. I have read things on Twitter and Facebook about people that most likely would not be spoken in the presence of the one being attacked. This happens in both political parties, sports rivalries and with other things people are passionate about. What does the Bible say about this? Paul writes in Titus 3:1,
“…slander no one, be peaceable and considerate and show true humility toward all men.”
This was a good reminder for me to not say anything about anyone unless I would be willing to say it to their face; peaceably, with consideration and with humility.
