It is true that “all sin and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). But may we never magnify our sins so that in our minds they are too big for God to forgive. Instead, we pray ask for forgiveness and then turn away from the sin and truly repent. There is nothing in history as big as the cross.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
(1 John 1:9)
“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
