Mound Visits, 8/11/16
This has always been a hard discipline for me, but I know it to be true…the busier I get, the more I should pray. When we become physically and mentally drained, it’s easy to become spirituality drained as well. Spiritual nourishment comes from God’s Word and with prayer. No Bible verses today, but instead two quotes that I’ve favored through the years:
“Work as if everything depends upon you; yet, pray knowing everything depends upon God.” (Ignatius)
“When we work, we work. When we pray, God works.” (Unknown)
