Mound Visits, 8/23/18

Each one of us will most likely have an opportunity today to make someone else’s life a little better…just a little brighter. There are people in you work space, on your staff or on your team who may be going through serious challenges; it could be an abuse, rejection, illness, depression or grief. We can, perhaps, give them a word of encouragement, a smile or a sincere compliment. It doesn’t take a lot on our part. A quick prayer will “equip” you to brighten someone’s corner. It may be as simple as this:

“Jesus, my friend looks dejected today. Would you shine through me with a smile, a friendly word or an encouraging gesture?”

I believe the Lord wants to answer those kinds of prayers, for It is His will for us to be His feet and hands in our corner of the world. “…your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
(Matthew 6:10)
