Mound Visits, 9/15/18
People tend to rank sins. Many times, our neighbors sins are greater than our own. The truth continues to be that we all sin. We all need forgiveness. We all need a Savior. (For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23)
There are those who turn their back on God because of rebellion; others because of shame and guilt. In truth, we should all be like a great running back who, when he falls, he falls forward. If we fall forward, seek and accept forgiveness, we will gradually get closer to our goal of becoming more like the One we follow. Thank you for reading these text and thanks for falling forward and growing alongside me.
“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind me and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
