In the ninth chapter of John, Jesus heals a blind man who had been blind from birth. The religious leaders (the Pharisees) didn’t believe this miracle. They questioned the blind man, his parents, and accused Jesus of sinning because He healed on the Sabbath. After questioning the blind man a second time, he simply told the Pharisees, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see.” (John 9:25) The Pharisees then kicked him out of the synagogue. They kicked him out, but they could not rob the blind man of his faith and his testimony.
