How do we react when we develop a plan, work the plan, but our plan doesn’t go as planned? A few answers come to mind…anger, discouragement, bitterness, disappointment, for sure. Usually, after experiencing these emotions, my best course of action is to surrender these emotions, and my failed plan, to God with an open mind, heart and hands. God’s plan isn’t always my plan, but His plan is always best in the long run…and it’s not even close.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
