You may think your faith is small. Or, you may look back over the years and see that your faith has grown. Whatever size you think your faith is, I do know this, it’s very important.
My favorite story in the Bible (Luke 5:17-26) is the one about a group of men who take a paralyzed friend on a mat to a house where Jesus is teaching and healing. These “mat carriers” have faith that Jesus can heal their friend. Of course, the house is too crowded, so the “mat carriers” lower their paralyzed friend through the roof and place him right in front of Jesus!
Luke tells us: “When Jesus saw THEIR faith, He said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven.” (Luke 5:20)
Jesus also healed the paralyzed friend. But the greater miracle was the miracle of forgiveness of sin…that originated with the faith of friends.
Your faith is important to someone today!
