Our journey with Christ is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Along the way we, at times, feel as though we are in a desert, or in a deep, dark forest with many sounds and obstacles that cause doubts and fears. But if we persevere, God always provides an oasis in the desert and a good path and light in the forest. Be assured, you may at times feel alone, but God will never leave you.
“I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the heart of the contrite.” (Isaiah 57:15b)
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” (Matthew 5:6)
