Many times when I have a tough challenge in my life I will be so consumed with the problem that I see nothing else. The first thing I should do (not the last thing when nothing else works) is ask God to help me. In God’s presence, the challenge doesn’t seem to loom so large. There is a reason for that. I’m safe with God, but very vulnerable alone.
