If you are anything like me, you’ve made your share of mistakes. Some of them, to us, seem small, some are large and shameful. The enemy wants us to hang all of those mistakes on us every day. Even though we’ve already confessed them to God, the enemy wants us to constantly think about our past sins. He wants to weigh us down with guilt. If he succeeds, then we feel dark, heavy and distant from God.
God wants to give us freedom through His Son, Jesus. He wants to lighten our load and experience joy in walking with Him. He wants us to know this:
“…as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.”
(Psalm 103:12)
