You may have more friends than you think. You may have fewer friends than you think. Unless you find yourself in dire straits, it may be hard to know for sure. One thing I know; Jesus is the closest friend you could have. You can talk to Him about anything. He understands what you are going through. He loves you when you mess up. He loves you when you want to follow Him. He is consistent and sincere in His love for you. He would give His life for you. As a matter of fact, He did.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
(John 15:13)
“One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
(Proverbs 18:24)
