Whether you lead a family, a team or a business, those who follow you will look to you when there is chaos or insecurity. Will you become a part of the problem or the one who brings confidence, courage and energy? In order to avoid becoming part of the problem, remember this:
- PRAY…whether it’s during your quiet time, or a silent prayer in the middle of chaos pray. God hears you and gives wisdom when you ask. (James 1:5)
- Followers are watching you. BE PREPARED for chaos and exude confidence.
- It’s easier to teach what is right than to DO WHAT IS RIGHT. If you do what is right, your followers are more likely to become men and women of integrity. The best gift you can give to your followers is to be a good example. Leadership is more caught than taught.
“Nothing is more confusing than people who give good advice but set a bad example.”
—Norman Vincent Peale
“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”—Paul
