What most of us need in our lives is more peace. Less stress, less worry, and more peace. The solution is rather simple but the execution can be a challenge. Below is the solution, but are we up for the challenge?

  1. Pray and read…spend time in prayer and in the Word of God (“the Word of God is alive and active and sharper than a two edged sword.” Hebrews 4:12)
  2. Commit…make receiving peace a priority in your life, not something you only wish for or think about.
  3. Ask and receive…(“you don’t have because you don’t ask.” James 4:2b)
  4. Meet the challenge and execute the plan…carve out time each morning to take a deep breath or two to execute number one. Have a conversation with God and read His Word. Perhaps start with Proverbs or the Gospel of John. Ask God for peace and strength.

“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” (Psalms‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬)
