In Paul David Tripp’s excellent devotional book, “New Morning Mercies,” he shares, “your weaknesses are not the big danger that you should fear. What you should really fear are your delusions of strength.”
God can do more with our weaknesses than He can our strengths. Paul knew this quite well:
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
“Real true faith is man’s weakness leaning on God’s strength.”
