In this era of social media reels, influencers and mega-million dollar contracts for athletes, humility is a rare virtue. When Milwaukee Brewers manager, Pat Murphy, announced to the team that his young pitcher Jacob Misiorowski had been selected for the MLB All-Star team, Jacob humbly shook his manager’s hand and proceeded to thank the veteran players for helping him in his career. IMO, we need more humility and grace like Jacob’s in our culture.
