MOUND VISIT
Light
After my first year of coaching and teaching at Lake Wales (FL) High School, for my summer job I worked as a seasonal tour guide at Mammoth Cave National Park. At some point during our tour of the cave, we would turn out all of the lights. The result, total darkness. Then, one of us would light a match and the entire area would be visible.
Much of the world is engulfed in spiritual darkness. God wants us to be light in the darkness…not just to see us as individuals, but to see the Light of the world, Jesus Christ.
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’”
(John 8:12)
