Unity.
If you are a sports fan, this is an exciting time of year! Game 7 of the World Series tonight, college football all day, the NBA has started and college basketball will begin next week.
For some reason, all of this sports activity causes me to be thankful to live in nation with freedom and opportunity. Are we perfect? No, because we have leaders (and citizens) who are flawed. Even with all of the great sports to watch, take time today to thank God for our freedom and for those who have sacrificed for it. Also, pray for our leaders, even if you disagree with them.
The state motto for Kentucky is “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.” Join me in prayer for this great nation, and for our leaders on both sides of the aisle.
