Who were Jesus’ contemporaries when He lived His 33 years on planet earth? Shepherds, Rabbi’s, craftsmen, fishermen, tax collectors, children, prostitutes, friends like Mary, Martha and Lazarus, the paralyzed, the poor, and the lepers. People like us. That why He is called Immanuel—God with us.
