The Gift…The Celebration.
We have much to celebrate this Christmas. The story of God’s perfect Gift to mankind is still being told in churches, small gatherings, over coffee with friends and in families. It’s truly “Good News.”
Meanwhile, let’s pray for Christians around the world. I recently learned that an average of 32 Christians are being killed every day in Nigeria because they worship Jesus. There is tension in many parts of the world. There is tension in our nation. Let’s be sure to let Love lead the way with family and friends during this season of giving and great hope. And, let’s remember why we celebrate. John the Baptist gave us this proclamation of hope and celebration in a sin sick world:
“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
(John 1:29)
