Important Meeting.
Recently, I read this truth in a book written by my friend, Brian Dodd:
“The most important meeting a leader has each day is his or her personal quiet time with God.”
Spending time in God’s “playbook for our lives” (the Bible) can be a time of peace, a time to gain wisdom and be encouraged. It can even be a time of challenge. I agree with Brian, prayer, reading scripture and meditating on God’s grace and His goodness is the perfect way to start each day.
“For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (Proverbs 2)
