A Safe Place

When we are anxious, stressed, frantic, God invites us in to a safe place.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬)

Alexander the Great once gave away his gold before heading out on a mission. When asked why, he said “For the hope of greater and better things.” We have found safety and security in something greater and better than gold, Jesus Christ.
