The Wilderness:
When we go through a ‘dry season’ or even a dark time when we feel distant from God, just hold on. God may very well be getting ready to use you or reveal answers to questions you have had. It’s hard to see while we are in the ‘wilderness.’ Isaiah, David, John the Baptist, and even Jesus had their own wilderness experiences…just before God used them in a powerful way. God is faithful. He will not abandon you. He will use your time in the wilderness for growth and for good.
“A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”
(Isaiah 40:3)
Even before your ‘dry season’ or your wilderness begins, God has provided blessings and answers for when you come out of the wilderness. Keep walking.
