Peace in a Chaotic World.
Chaos, confusion, anger and hatred are so prevalent in our world today. We want to be informed but what we see on the news and on social media discourages us and causes us to feel that the entire world is one large war, riot or natural disaster. Apparently, there’s great profit in reporting death and destruction. What we need is the peace of Christ. Money, power and ‘likes’ can’t give peace, but Jesus can. Let’s spend time with Him and in His Word. We can have peace even during chaos.
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
“We are not at peace with others because we are not at peace with ourselves, and we are not at peace with ourselves because we are not at peace with God.”
(Thomas Merton)
