For Us.
Perhaps you are a person or you know someone who has grown up thinking that God’s purpose is to catch us doing something wrong. If that’s the case, I want to encourage you with this bold and beautiful statement: God is for you!
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
(Romans 8:31)
Earlier in this chapter, Paul encourages us by sharing this truth:
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” (Romans 8:1)
Jesus took our sin and condemnation to the cross with Him. He conquered sin and death on the cross.
