Waiting, Hoping, Learning.

Waiting is not one of my strengths. I’m not a patient man.
Many of us have been praying for friends, family members, and the deep divide in our nation for months, years, even decades. Some of our prayers haven’t been answered. God has not forgotten us. He wants to give us more faith, strength, wisdom and hope as we wait. Remain prayerful. Remain faithful. Trust that our Father is doing very good things in our lives while we wait. Keep praying. God never tires of hearing from His children.

“…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31)

“Waiting is a period of learning. The longer we wait, the more we hear about Him for whom we are waiting.” (Henri Nouwen)
