Jesus told us in John 16:33 that we would experience trouble in this world. He also told us that he has “overcome the world.” We shouldn’t confuse God with life. What we go through in life is temporary. What God has in store for us is far better, and it’s eternal.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
