Yesterday, I attended a friend’s funeral. He loved his family and baseball. He was a man of character and taught those values to his large family with both words and the way he lived his life. He was kind. I witnessed this kindness many times. His faith was central in his life.
We need men more like him in our world. Who will replace him?
“A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth.”
