If your personality is similar to mine, you want people to like you. Sometimes that makes it challenging for me to ‘mean what I say, and say what I mean.’ Why? Because I want to please others. But, when it comes to the Truth, the Word, the Gospel, I must step outside my comfort zone when someone asks about my faith. I must share this verse, or one similar, with them:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
(John 3:16)
In a sense, this verse captures the entire Gospel message.
