Time is a mystery. When you are very young, it seems like years between Thanksgiving and Christmas. When you are 15 and waiting for your driver’s license, it moves just as slow. When you are my age, it feels as though I have three birthdays each year. The writer of Ecclesiastes has a more positive, truthful ‘take’ on time:
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:11)
“He has also set eternity in the human heart.” Something important to think about.
