My main ingredient in the recipe for a successful team, staff, organization or business is a healthy portion of humility. Not the kind of humility that robs people of confidence, but the kind described in Philippians 2:3-4,
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interest, but also in the interest of others.”
“Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is thinking of yourself less.” (C.S. Lewis)
