The leaders criticized Jesus because He healed on the Sabbath.
“In his defense Jesus said to them, ‘My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.’”
(John 5:17)
God is working on our behalf. God will meet you where you are in order to take you where He wants you to go.
