Sometimes the challenges in life are so large that we don’t known how to pray. Yesterday our pastor shared that in ancient Judah, King Jehoshaphat received word that a vast army of his enemies was approaching to invade his kingdom. Jehoshaphat had nowhere to turn except to God in prayer. It’s a beautiful, honest prayer. At one point in the prayer, Jehoshaphat says to God, “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.”
(2 Chronicles 20:12)
When we don’t know what to do or even how to pray, just let God know that we’re keeping our eyes on Him. As He did for Jehoshaphat, He will fight our battles for us.
